Art Activities

These (older) toddler and preschool art activities are perfect for making fun projects while exposing children to a wide variety of art materials. For children under the age of 2, please see "Teeny Tinies."

**You are responsible for ensuring that each activity is safe and appropriate for your child.

Arts and Crafts Class

Art is an essential part of children's learning and development.

Art activities promote fine motor skills such as holding a paintbrush, applying pressure, scissor skills and more. Through art, children learn to express their thoughts and feelings, while also developing their imagination and creativity. Art also encourages problem solving and helps children to develop an appreciation for beauty and culture.

While we provide structured art activities that focus on developing these skills, we also encourage children to simply create using materials around them!
