Let's Play!

  • This activity can truly be done with so many variations depending on age/ability of child. The main purpose is to be silly while moving!

  • Some ideas for a clown training course

    • Cone course:

      • Set up cones in a line (far enough apart that you can easily get through them)

      • Have children either ride bikes OR run through them.

      • If they knock cones over THAT'S OKAY! They can just  laugh really loudly like they did it on purpose! (and help set them back up of course)

  • Hula Hoops

    • If children are able to correctly hula hoop - go for it!

    • If not, children can "goofy hoop" (try and hula hoop), move the hoops on their arms, let it fall down and should "OOOOPS I  HULA GOOFED" etc.

  • Movement Scarves Dancing:

    • As the title indicates: children can sing something silly like "Have you ever seen a chicken walk a dog" while dancing

    • Children can practice juggling (like in our "juggling activity."

  • Add on anything else you think your child(ren) will enjoy!
